EQUIPETRO is a technical-scientific meeting that aims to bring together researchers to discuss and share knowledge and experience in the phase balance area applied to the challenges involved in oil production. The purpose is to allow the interaction of academic and industrial media to close the gap between the typical technological demands of the oil industry and the scientific knowledge generated by research institutions, focusing on the phenomena of petroleum fluid phase behavior and their peculiarities. The range of application of phase equilibrium fundamentals ranges from technologies for increasing the oil recovery factor in mature fields to the new challenges for oil production in the non-trivial high pressure and temperature conditions of ultra deep water reservoirs. Brazilian pre-salt.
